Where do you deliver?
Retrospective delivers throughout South Africa and are now able to ship internationally too.
How much does delivery cost?
Only when you checkout your item you will be able to select your shipping preference, from there the various options will be given. The postage rate is weight based, and is dependent upon the amount and type of items you choose. Overnight and express shipping will cost more, any orders under R200 may be posted via our local South African Postal Service (SAPO).
International orders are shipped via the SAPO, standard/air mail postage with a tracking number. We post all international parcels via NORMAL AIRMAIL.For international postage the cost is worked out by weight.
*Please note that we do not cover any extra customs/taxes - that is for your own account.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Local orders: approx 4 - 5 working days on orders posted via SAPO, (if we have it in stock, and all payment has been received). If you have selected the courier option, and we have it in stock, and all payment has been received, we will ship within 24 hours of receiving the order.
International orders: Please remember your little parcel is traveling far and can take anywhere between 12 - 15 working days. Delivery time is also dependent upon your countries individual import/customs policies. It is up to you to follow up with your local post office once it has left South Africa.
How do I track my order?
Orders sent via courier may be tracked via the courier web site we provide you upon final fulfillment of your order, and orders sent via the SAPO, may be tracked HERE
We post all our international parcels with a tracking number so that you can track your parcel where ever you are - FREE OF CHARGE.
Can I collect my order?
If you live in Cap Town or happen to be in the area you are more than welcome to collect your order at our Warehouse. Please select the "Collection in Montague Gardens" option on the checkout page. As soon as our Retro team have packed your order we will send you an email to let you know that it is ready for collection.
What do I do if I don't receive my package?
Don’t panic, phone us so that we can panic on your behalf. Don’t worry either, because we will work out what went wrong and sort it out as soon as we can. Please understand it will be heart-breaking for us that you didn’t get to dress up but we will do everything we can to fix what went wrong and try to ensure it does not happen again to the best of our ability.
What if you send me the wrong thing?
At Retrospective we are humans and mistakes happen. If we have delivered the wrong product, a faulty product, or have misrepresented the offering with an incorrect picture or description we accept we have made a mistake and we will deal with the situation as soon as possible. Please contact us immediately and we will resolve the error by arranging to collect the incorrect product(s) from you and to deliver the correct product(s) to you as quickly as possible.
