• Retro Courier: Cape Town City & Surrounds (Northern, Southern Suburbs & West Coast to Blouberg only)
• Courier, anywhere in South Africa: 1-3 business days - PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING COVID 19 These times may vary due to limited flights and extra security measures being taken by the courier companies.
• International Courier: Between 3-4 working days. Delivery time is also dependent upon your countries import/customs policies.
• Please note that shipping rates are worked out upon checkout, and is calculated on weight.

Do you have a physical store I can go to where I can try on items?

Currently we have a small shop/showroom set up at our offices in Montague Gardens Industrial area, Cape Town that is open to the public. Please see ->HERE <- for our location and opening times.

All other stores in the major city centers are now closed (Cape Town CBD, Pretoria Brooklyn Mall & Parkhurst in Jozi).

Is your store in Montague Garden Open on Week ends?

Unfortunately not, we are only open regular business hours, Monday - Friday, unless otherwise stated. Please see more details -> HERE <-

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes we do! For gift vouchers, we issue a unique Voucher code that can be used online or in-store. Our vouchers are in R100 & R500 denominations, eg: for R400, click "4" under the quantity. Once payment has been received you will receive an email with a voucher and it's unique code.

Are my credit card details safe?

Yes. This is a concern for many online buyers, especially first-timers. All credit card transactions take place on a secure page through Payfast. Please visit their website at www.payfast.co.za for information on the safety of your transaction.

How often do you get new products?

Retrospective regularly gets new products in store. As soon as they are received and put on our shelves they will also become available on our website. We update all our social media accounts with what is new, and we also send all product updates out to our customers via our Retro Newsletter. -> Sign up here <-

Why do some listings say MADE TO ORDER?

As our physical store is limited to a certain floor/storage space we are not able to keep EVERYTHING you see on the web site in ALL SIZES and COLOURS, so we offer a made to order option where we make up "Upon order" received (We have our own factory!).

DO YOU HAVE EVERYTHING THAT WE SEE ONLINE IN STORE TOO?

In a quick answer no! As some items are made upon order, please keep this in mind when visiting our physical store as NOT EVERYTHING IS OUT ON DISPLAY and will require a few days to make up for you. If you have an urgent event, please try and plan ahead.

I want to send somebody a gift from your store – how does that work?

We can definitely do that for you! Please make sure you say GIFT upon check out in the COMMENT BOX so that our staff know to NOT include an invoice. Alternatively send us an email at retrospective@redhotblue.co.za If you would like to include a little Birthday note, please pop it in the COMMENT section, we are happy to make the lucky person receiving the gift as excited as we are!

I have a Gift Voucher purchased from your old (physical) store can I still use it?

Yes you can*! At this stage our current web site doesn't support vouchers purchased in-store, but please do contact us and we will make the necessary arrangement to make sure you can still get what your heart desires.  Send us an email at retrospective@redhotblue.co.za.

*Please note that only vouchers purchased at Retrospective Cape Town in our previous Long Street location (City) are valid, but unfortunately vouchers purchased from the previous (Pretoria and Joburg) stores we are unable to validate as all stores were individually owned

What do I do if I don't receive my package?

Don’t panic, phone us so that we can panic on your behalf. Don’t worry either, because we will work out what went wrong and sort it out as soon as we can.

Please understand it will be heart-breaking for us that you didn’t get to dress up but we will do everything we can to fix what went wrong and try to ensure it does not happen again to the best of our ability.

What if you send me the wrong thing?

At Retrospective we are humans and mistakes happen. If we have delivered the wrong product, a faulty product, or have misrepresented the offering with an incorrect picture or description we accept we have made a mistake and we will deal with the situation as soon as possible. Please contact us immediately and we will resolve the error by arranging to collect the incorrect product(s) from you and to deliver the correct product(s) to you as quickly as possible.
