Kaapse Smeervet Pocket size Rub [14g]

This balm is made from real beef tallow (fat) according to an age-old traditional recipe your grandmother will remember. Known in the Cape as "Bokvet", oumas and mothers still use it today, rubbing it on babies' chest when the child has asthma or a chest infection, then putting on a red flannel vest made by ouma to keep the chest warm.

Kaapse Smeervet can also be used to relieve tight chest in older children and adults. And adults also use it to nourish very dry skin.

How to use Babies and children: Rub onto chest area, back and soles of the feet. Adults: Apply to soothe dry skin.
